Choosing the Right Engagement Tier
A decision framework for matching CloudPresto's service tiers to your workload reality.
Three Tiers, One Question
The right tier isn't about budget. It's about what breaks if your infrastructure fails. A startup with one production app and a Fortune 500 with 200 microservices have fundamentally different risk profiles, and the engagement model should reflect that.
CloudPresto offers three base tiers. Each includes progressively deeper operational capability. Add-ons (DevOps, DR, AI) layer on top of any tier.
Tier Comparison
| Capability | Foundation | Business | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workloads | Up to 2 production | Up to 6 production | Full production estate |
| Monitoring | 24/7 baseline | 24/7 + SLO tracking | 24/7 + SLO + anomaly detection |
| Incident Response | Standard P1 triage | Priority P1 triage | Top-priority P1 triage + exec escalation |
| Patching | Monthly cycle | Bi-weekly cycle | Continuous + emergency patching |
| Capacity Planning | Quarterly review | Monthly analysis | Continuous + predictive |
| Reporting | Monthly summary | Weekly + monthly | Weekly + monthly + QBR |
| Change Governance | Standard process | Standard + advisory | Full CAB + audit trails |
| Starting at | $995/mo | $2,950/mo | $7,500/mo |
Decision Framework
Start with Foundation if...
You have 1–2 production workloads, no defined SLOs yet, and need someone to own the operational baseline while you focus on building. You want to prove the model before committing deeper.
Start with Business if...
You have 3–6 production workloads, defined SLOs, and need proactive capacity planning and weekly visibility. Your team is growing and can't keep up with operational demands.
Start with Enterprise if...
You run mission-critical workloads where downtime means revenue loss or regulatory exposure. You need executive-level reporting, full change governance, and predictive capacity management.
Not sure?
Start with the Architecture Workshop. We'll map your workloads, assess criticality, and recommend the right tier based on actual risk, not assumptions. Most workload profiles point to Business.
