Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
CloudPresto LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
1.1 Controller and processor roles
CloudPresto LLC ("CloudPresto," "we," "us," "our") is a managed cloud operations company organized in the State of Florida, USA. For personal information about visitors to this website and our direct customers, CloudPresto acts as the data controller. Where we process personal data on behalf of a customer as part of delivering our services, we act as a data processor under that customer’s instructions and the applicable engagement agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
1.2 How to contact us
For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. Full contact details are in Section 15.
2. Scope of this policy
2.1 What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website, our customer portal, and our sales and support interactions.
2.2 What it does not cover
It does not govern data within a customer’s own systems that we operate on their behalf — that data is handled under the applicable engagement agreement and Data Processing Addendum, not this policy. It also does not cover third-party websites we link to (see Section 13).
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
When you submit a contact, intake, scheduling, or newsletter form, we collect details such as your name, business email, company, role, and the contents of your message or request.
3.2 Account information
If you register for the customer portal, we store your name, email, and a securely hashed password, along with the submissions associated with your account.
3.3 Information collected automatically
Our systems automatically record standard technical data such as IP address, browser/user-agent, referring pages, and timestamps, for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
3.4 Cookies and local storage
We store a small amount of data on your device for essential functionality (see Section 6).
3.5 Sensitive information
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (e.g., health, biometrics) through this website, and we ask that you not submit them in free-text fields.
4. How we use information
4.1 Purposes
- To respond to inquiries and provide the services and information you request.
- To create and administer customer portal accounts.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and our services.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4.2 Marketing communications
Where you have opted in, we may send occasional updates. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
4.3 No sale of personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4.4 Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the services and accounts you request.
- Legitimate interests — to secure and improve our services and respond to inquiries, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for optional marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — to meet our compliance requirements.
8. International data transfers
We and our service providers may store and process information in data centers in various countries around the world. Wherever your information is processed, we apply this policy and appropriate safeguards. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA or UK to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Inquiry and form submissions are retained while we follow up and for our records; portal account data is retained while your account is active. Specific retention periods vary by data type and are available on request; when the applicable period ends, we delete or anonymize the data.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
11. Your privacy rights
11.1 Rights available to you
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
11.2 How to exercise them
Email [email protected]. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
11.3 EEA/UK (GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
11.4 California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We confirm we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11.5 Other US state rights
Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights; contact us to exercise them.
12. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. This policy does not apply to those properties; please review their privacy notices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps as required by law.
