Verification: The Part Everyone Skips

A backup you've never restored is a hope, not a strategy. CloudPresto runs automated integrity verification on every backup tier:

  • Checksum validation: every snapshot verified against source data hashes
  • Restore testing: weekly automated restore to an isolated environment
  • Data consistency checks: application-level validation that restored data is complete and consistent
  • Recovery time measurement: actual restore duration tracked against RTO targets
If a backup fails verification, we know immediately, not when you need it during an incident. Every failed verification triggers an immediate investigation and prioritized remediation.
